KSU Head Coach Keith Schunzel was pleased with his team’s effort. “We competed our butts off and freed our minds,” he said. “When we play that engaged on both sides of the net, for an entire match, really good things happen. Really proud of that effort and execution.”
The Owls improved to 6-5 in ASUN play and 13-9 overall with the victory. They are now tied for fourth place in the conference.
